Multi-Faceted Glasses

HHV’s horology division has recently developed multi-faceted glasses for the watch industry. This crystal has multiple faces which will give a more aesthetic look for the wrist watches. This product has applications in the jewelry industry like stones and beads, and wrist watch industry in high end watches.

HHV had earlier developed single facet cut glasses for the Indian horological industry. The demand for multi-facet glass has led the team to develop multi-facetted watch glasses indigenously. Each facet plays a crucial role in the appearance of the final watch. Facets have to be cut and polished at specific angles to ensure maximum optical performance. When light passes through the facet the angle will ensure reduced “light leakage” and symmetry of reflection and appearance. HHV Crystals uses custom made faceting machines to produce a superior facet. These glasses have an approximate diameter of 30.0 mm and thickness of 2.0 mm. HHV Crystals is capable of producing thirty thousand pieces annually. HHV Crystals also has the capability to metallize these pieces with gold, silver, and rose gold.
